Tell me why a signal didn't become a trade

Right now when nothing happens I can't tell the difference between "conditions weren't met", "conditions were met but something blocked it", and "I made a mistake in the code." What I'd like is a skip log: for each bar where a signal was evaluated and rejected, one line saying which condition failed or which limit blocked it. I'd probably learn more from that log than from my results, honestly.
