time exits do more work than my stops
kept a year of my own logs. the stop loss closed the obvious disasters, fine. but the thing that actually moved my numbers was the time exit — the rule that says if this hasn't done what i expected within N minutes, it's not going to.
dead trades don't lose much individually. they just tie up capacity and attention while something else is moving. cutting them earlier was worth more than any entry tweak i made all year.
