The documentation explains what, rarely why
When I look up a setting, I get a definition of what it does. What I usually need is when I'd want it and what it trades off against.
Example: I can read what each order type does. Nothing tells me which one is appropriate for a fast-moving thin name versus a liquid one, which is the actual decision I'm making.
Not asking for a textbook. One line of "use this when, at the cost of that" per setting would change the docs from a reference into something that helps you decide.
