First month of running automated: what actually surprised me
Three things I didn't expect:
The boredom is real, and it's a feature. There's nothing to do most of the day, which is uncomfortable if trading was also your entertainment.
I became a worse discretionary trader, because I stopped practicing. Didn't expect that trade-off.
And the strategy's bad days feel worse than my own bad days, even when they're smaller. Something about not being the one who pressed the button.
Anyone else hit that third one?
