Latency matters far less than people think, until it doesn't
Retail traders love talking about latency. For most strategies here it's irrelevant, if you're holding for twenty minutes, fifty milliseconds is not your problem.
Where it does matter is when your entry condition is something a lot of other people can also see at the same instant. Then you're not trading a signal, you're queuing for one, and position in the queue is the whole game.
So the useful question isn't "is my connection fast." It's "am I competing for this fill, or am I the only one who wants it?"
