Daily data is enough for more strategies than people admit
There's a quiet assumption here that finer data is always better. For a lot of approaches it just adds noise and decisions.
I run on daily bars. Everything I need — trend, range, relative position. Is visible there, and the finer data mostly gave me more chances to second-guess an entry I'd already justified.
Not arguing against tick data. Arguing that resolution should match the timeframe of your reasoning, and mismatching them upward costs attention without adding information.
