My premarket read was a ghost town wearing a costume
Set an alert on something at 6am because the chart was climbing in a nice tidy staircase and I thought fine, real buyers, I'll take a small starter before the bell. Filled, felt clever, then the open arrived and the whole staircase turned out to be about four prints spaced twenty minutes apart. Price went straight back through where it started and my "trend" was basically one guy with a limit order and a sleep disorder. That research piece here about premarket volume put a number on it that was smaller than I wanted to admit, and worse, most of the minutes don't trade at all. I've been reading a candle that was drawn by nobody.
