Scanners find movers, not opportunities!
Took me a while to internalize. A scanner tells you what has already moved. That's the definition, it's ranking by something that happened.
So the question isn't "what's on the list," it's "is being on this list predictive of the next twenty minutes, or is it a summary of the last twenty?" For some setups it's genuinely predictive. For others the move is done and the list is a graveyard.
Test it! Take your scanner output, and measure what happened after appearing, not before. Mine was informative for one condition and actively harmful for another.
