I stopped trading my sub-$10 list

Spent most of last year running a mean reversion thing on cheap movers, small size, felt clever, kept wondering why the equity curve looked nothing like the sheet. Assumed I was fat-fingering entries or being slow. Then that execution study on here went through recorded order books level by level and put a real number on what a market buy in that price bucket actually pays versus mid, and it was chunkier than the edge I thought I had. My whole backtest subtracted a token amount per side because that's what everyone does. So the sub-$10 list is retired. Not because it can't work, because I was never measuring the thing that was eating it.

- log your fill vs the mid at the moment you sent it - do it for 20 trades - you'll know within a week
