What I appreciate is what it doesn't do

There's no leaderboard, no streak counter, no celebration when a trade goes well. I've used tools that had those and they made me worse. They turned a process into a scoreboard and I started trading for the scoreboard. Saying it out loud because absence is easy to overlook and easy to add later under pressure to "increase engagement." If someone proposes that, please consider this a vote against.

Seconded, strongly. Gamification in a trading tool is a harm dressed as a feature.

Thirded. I've watched what those do to people over decades.

I'd absolutely chase a streak counter and I know it, which is exactly the argument.

Noted, and passed along. No plans for leaderboards or streaks. I won't promise "never" on behalf of people who aren't in the room yet, but it's on record now and this thread is the kind of thing we point at when the question comes up.

Agreed. The one thing I'd add: confetti after a win teaches you the outcome was the point, when the only thing you controlled was whether you followed your rules. Those two come apart constantly.

Two thoughts. 1) A streak counter measures a sequence, not an edge, 8 green days in a row can happen in a losing system easily enough, and it feels like proof. 2) If you want a counter, count rule-follows, not wins. I keep that one myself in a spreadsheet and it's the only stat that's ever changed my behaviour for the better.

Never thought about this angle, honestly. I came from apps with badges and stuff and just assumed it was normal. Question though. Is a plain P/L number already a mini scoreboard? I stare at mine way more than I should.
